This project is the result of an improbable meeting of two Brazilian artists in France in 2010. The year 2016 is the year of the reencontro (reunion)!

From the same generation, these two musicians grew up listening to the traditional music of their respective regions, Brazilian instrumental music, Bossa-Nova classics, MPB (Brazilian popular music) and especially jazz. But it is France that has allowed the meeting of these two artists and a meeting also with other cultures. Friendship, complicity and musicality. The duo is only a pretext to meet and share a musical moment that derives from other influences. Themes from here, improvisations from elsewhere, melodies from there ... Sambaratú from Enredo-Virado!

Born in two different cities of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro the capital of Choro and Samba, and Recife the capital of Frevo and Macaratú (both cities on the Atlantic have an important history and a long tradition musical), the duet presents an authentic repertoire of a Brazil lived with a beautiful album titled Encounter, "encontro". A multiplicity of styles and musical influences.
